FAQ

General

Where do your courses take place?

All of Mission Math's courses take place online via Google Classroom and Google Meets. This means you can sign up from anywhere!

How much do your courses cost?

Nothing! All of Mission Math's courses are ENTIRELY free because we believe that quality education should be accessible to all children despite where they live or their family's income.

Private Tutoring

Up till what level can you private tutor?

We offer private tutoring for up to Calculus. This includes elementary and middle-school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Precalculus.

Can I pick which private tutor I would like?

After you register, we will contact you with further details, and you can let us know if there is a specific tutor you want. However, this doesn't guarantee that your child will have that tutor; we will put you with the tutor(s) that can best address your student's needs.

Seasonal Activities

How does attendance work for the summer camps?

For the summer camps, there is no strict attendance. However, as the camp is only four weeks, we move at a fast pace. While we offer free office hours and supplemental private lessons, it can be hard for your child to catch up if they miss a class. Hence, we request that your student prioritizes attendance.

For private tutoring, tutors will contact families after they apply to arrange times.

When are the summer camps?

In 2023, both summer camps start on Monday, July 10, and end on Friday, August 4. Classes are from 10-11 a.m. PST, Monday to Friday the entire four weeks. Check back in spring 2024 for the 2024 summer camp dates.
